WALKER It is with the deepest sadness that Colin has to intimate the loss, on September 15, 2021, of Anne (nee Gillieson), aged 96, his wife and closest friend of 74 years, Anne was mother of Hilary and Huntly, grandmother to Ben, Frances, Sam, Ruth, Emma and Lilly, great-grandmother to Penelope, Ebenie, Una and Fin. Anne has given her body for medical research at the University of Glasgow, so there will be a service of remembrance and celebration of her life at St Stephens and West Church, Broughty Ferry, on Monday, October 4, at 2 p.m., and a reception thereafter at Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry, to which all family and friends are warmly invited. Do please enhance the occasion by wearing colours. No flowers please, but if you so wish, do leave a donation at the church to be shared between the British Heart Foundation and the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.
