IRONS Suddenly, after a short illness, at Ninewells Hospital, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Frances (nee Heron), much loved wife of Jim, loving mother of Joanne, Gareth and son-in-law James, beloved sister of Stella and Lorna and a great inspiration to her wider family and many friends. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium, on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 2.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if desired, can be made to the British Heart Foundation, at the Crematorium.

I am so sorry to hear about Frances. It was very sudden. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Unfortunately I won't make the funeral but will miss Frances dearly. She was a great inspiration to me and was there for me when I was stuck in hospital a few years ago.
Thinking of you all.
Frances was a Beautiful Lady inside and out.

Jim, I am sorry and shocked to hear this news about Frances, she was one of the nicest people that I have ever met and will be missed by all who knew her.
Unfortunately I can’t be at Frances’s funeral as I will be in hospital having a knee replacement that day but, you will all be very much in my thoughts on the day.
Stay strong and try to remember the good times of which there were many.

We are so very sorry to hear that Frances has passed away..we had heard from
Bobby that she was in hospital and was very ill...we have great memories of you
and Frances and the time we spent together in Cork that year for the anniversary
party...so glad we got to meet Frances..she was a lovely person.
