RHIND Peacefully, at Roxburghe House, Dundee, on Friday, December 24, 2021, J. Arliss (ex D.C. Thomson), cherished husband of the late Dorothy, beloved father of Lesley, Gillian and Damon, adored grandad and great-grandfather. Funeral service in Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 12.30 p.m., to which family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Roxburghe House comfort fund can be given at the Crematorium.

I have only just learnt of Arliss's passing, he came into my mind after reading about the terrible floods in Brechin. This made me think of Arliss because back in the late 60's early 70's I played football with Arliss as we both played for St. Georges in Enfield London and Arliss was the goal keeper and I was right back and to this day i still recall Arliss shouting to me " I am exposed I am exposed" when I was out of position and he could see the opposition coming directly towards him. RIP dear friend, it was a long time ago.
