LAING Sandy (Artist) On December 22, 2021, after a wonderful and glorious life, Sandy Laing died, at home, in his beloved Highgate, painting and drawing to the end. An irrepressible Romantic, Sandy delighted in his subject as well as his more prosaic walks through the ancient woods of Highgate, treading the footsteps of Robert the Bruce. Sandy's disappearance will sadden neighbours, his many friends and his loved and loving family.
