MITCHELL It is with great sadness, the family announce the death of Christina (Chris) Cairncross, on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in her 96th year, after a long and happy life, dearly beloved wife of the late Walter Mitchell, much loved mother and mother-in-law, adored grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, a good friend to many, sadly missed by all. Due to current restrictions, a family funeral service will be held in Rattray Parish Church, on Tuesday, January 25, at 11 a.m. Interment thereafter in Blairgowrie Cemetery, cortege arriving approximately 11.45 a.m., to which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations to The Blairgowrie and District Freedom Coach Association, may be given at the church and cemetery.
