LUSCOMBE Peacefully, after a long illness, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, The Rt. Revd. Lawrence Edward Luscombe (Bishop of Brechin 1975 - 1990 and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church 1985 - 1990), beloved husband of the late Dr Doris Morgan, dear father of Jean Sutherland, grandfather of James and Edward and proud great-grandfather. At his own request, the funeral service is private. A memorial service will be held later. Family flowers only. No letters, please.

Bishop Luscombe was chairman of the Trustees of St Margaret's Home where my mother was the Matron. He was always so supportive of the work done there and always a great supporter of my mother. She and I were very fond of him and admired his work greatly. He will be a great loss. My sympathies and prayers are with his family.
