We were so sorry to hear of your sad loss.
I remember George when he was an elder and Session Clerk during the time when my father, John Johnston, was minister at St Peter’s. My father used to say what a pleasure it was to have such a reliable and supportive Session Clerk; they became firm friends.
George was particularly kind and generous to both our parents when my father had to retire for health reasons. For this my sisters. Mary and Dorie, and I were very grateful.
George was a decent man, loyal and faithful to his church and minister.
Our sympathies are with all the family.
