JAMES Dr Ann James MB ChB DOst RCOG, died peacefully, at Lochleven Care Home, on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 88, she was a loving wife of Geoff for 62 years and the proud and much loved mum of Jennifer, Elizabeth and Katy and their husbands, she was a devoted granny to her 8 grandchildren, their partners and her 2 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her extended family in the U.K., and America. Funeral service in Selwood Funeral Directors, 77-79 Dundee Street, Carnoustie, on Thursday, June 23, at 11 a.m., to which all relatives and friends are respectfully invited, interment service, family only.

Dr Jacob Jolly and Anne wish to send our heart felt condolenses to Geoff and all the family at this very sad time. We knew Ann many many years ago when both Jacob and I worked at Ninewells. Geoff was Jacobs mentor and he thought the world of him,taught him so many things in Obstetrics and Gynae.We ourselves now live in Gifford near our daughters and grandchildren.
