STOTT (St Cyrus) Peacefully, at Ninewells Hospital, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, Ian, aged 73 years, loved son of the late Marion and Dave Stott, a much loved brother of Marion and the late George, a dear uncle and friend. Funeral service at St Cyrus Parish Church, on Monday, January 23, at 11 a.m., thereafter to St Cyrus Churchyard, to which all are welcome. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made towards Forest View Centre, Stonehaven.

I loved bumping into and speaking to Ian. He was a wonderful man with an amazing soul and I’m absolutely heartbroken to learn of his passing. He always was so friendly, so approachable and had a heart of gold. I hope his precious Montrose FC do well, and he can enjoy watching them from heaven. Thank you Ian for always brightening up my days, for making me smile, cheering me up on grey days, and for being my friend. Rest in peace Ian Stott X
