COFFEY Peacefully, in Forebank Care Home, Dundee, on January 13, 2023, Catherine McLaren, in her 97th year (retired teacher, St Margaret's R.C. Primary, Dundee), beloved wife of the late Denis Coffey, much loved mum of Jean Marie, a dear auntie and friend to many. R.I.P. Reception of Remains followed by Funeral Mass, in our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church, Westfield Road, Broughty Ferry, on Monday, January 30, at 10 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, interment thereafter in Kenmore Churchyard at 2 p.m.

I had the privilege to meet Cath few years back and was one of her carers . Cath had a brilliant sense of humour and amazing stories of her childhood / marriage / family and teaching career. I always looked forward to my visits to Cath’s , she was very independent and would help as much as possible . We enjoyed a few cups of tea and few biscuits together. Sending my love to Jean-Marie , Caths daughter and to family & friends. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your mums life in her later years. She will be greatly missed .
