WILKINSON Sheriff Alexander Birrell KC (Haddington) Died peacefully, in his sleep, at Lammermuir Care Home, Dunbar, on January 17, 2023, aged 90, beloved husband of Wendy, adored father of Jenni and Alan, father-in-law to Laura and Bill and much loved grandfather to Zara and Ben. A thoroughly decent man who will be sorely missed. Family cremation followed by Service of Thanksgiving at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh, on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 12 noon, to which all his family and friends are invited.
