SWANSTON 1947 to 2023 Professor Michael Timothy Swanston 2 Kestrel Road, Newburgh, Aberdeenshire died peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Sunday, February 12, 2023 (he was formerly of Carlogie Road, Carnoustie) and was predeceased by his beloved parents Mungo and Susan, beloved husband of Georgina and dearly loved father of Elizabeth, Isabella and Duncan, grandfather of Siobhan and Mollie and great-grandfather of Michael, deeply missed by his younger brothers Andrew, James and David, his sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He will be forever in our hearts. A private family ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 11, at Parkgrove Crematorium in Froickheim, Angus, followed by a celebration of his life, at Carnoustie Golf Hotel, at 12 noon. All friends and family are welcome to attend the celebration at the hotel. The family would be grateful for charitable donations at the funeral rather than flowers.
