MATTHEWSON At home in Arbroath, after a long battle with ill health, on Sunday, May 28, 2023, Doug, proprietor of Golden Lion Garage, beloved husband of Anne for 69 years, a loving dad of Douglas, Alan and Susan, father-in-law of Lindsay and Dawn, also granda of Carly and Kris and great-granda of Taylor and Bradley. A celebration of Doug's life will take place at David Mackay's Chapel of Rest, Arbroath, on Friday, June 9, at 12 noon, thereafter to Arbroath Western Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations may be made at the chapel doors in aid of Arbroath R.N.L.I. Bright colours may be worn.
