BLACK (St Andrews) It is with great sadness we announce the death of Sheila Rosemary Black (previously Hill, nee Osbon), who passed away, peacefully, at home, on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the age of 83, following a short period of declining health. She had the amazing support of her carers, family and friends to the end. Sheila leaves behind her husband Ian, as well as her daughters Marian, Rosemary and Julia from her first marriage to the late Philip Hill and 8 grandchildren. A service of thanksgiving, to celebrate Sheila's life, will be held at St Leonard's Parish Church, Donaldson Gardens, St Andrews, on Friday, August 25, at 2 p.m. In memory of Sheila's love for colour, please no black. Donations to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland are preferrable to flowers.
