STRACHAN (Montrose) Peacefully, at Antiquary Care Home, on July 21, 2023, Elizabeth (Liz), aged 84 years (former teacher and writer), beloved wife of Sandy, much loved mum of Murray and Bruce, dear mother-in-law of Carol and Ann, a treasured grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at Montrose Congregational Church, on Thursday, August 10, at 12 noon, thereafter to Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, at 1.30 p.m., to which all relatives and friends are welcome. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired, may be made towards Alzheimer Scotland.

RIP you lovely and intelligent lady. I remember sitting with you on the couch, one night, in your first house in Montrose, trying to complete The Telegraph crossword. We did it, thanks to you mostly, with your extensive knowledge and memory. Sadly the memory went towards the end just like my Pa, Sandy's brother. xxx
