EMOND (Alyth) Professor William John Emond, inaugural vice- principal, University of Abertay, Dundee, died peacefully, at Northlands Care Home, Blairgowrie, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was the loving and much loved husband of Helen, precious dad of Gillian, Ruth and Gregor, adored grandpa of James, Kate, Sam, Jordan and Rudi, dearest brother of Olive, much loved father-in-law of Bertie and Donna and a dear uncle and friend. Service of Thanksgiving at Alyth Parish Church, on Friday, October 20, at 2.30 p.m., to which all are invited. Family flowers only, please, but donations, if so desired, may be given to the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association at the church.
