BIRRELL After a short illness, Ally passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, Alistair David Birrell, aged 81 years (former proprietor Birrell's Garage, Crieff Road, Exchange Café & Eats and Sweets, Perth), beloved husband of Joan, loving dad to Gary, Scott and Julie, a much loved grandad to Scott, Sara, Luke, Cameron, Gary Jnr and the late Sean, great-grandad to Mollie and a much loved and respected father-in-law to Linda, Scott and Lindsay. A service to celebrate Ally's life will be held at Perth Crematorium, on Friday, December 1, at 9.30 a.m., to which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only, please, but if so desired, donations may be given on leaving the Crematorium, for cancer research.

My parents had McLaren's Shop in Crieff Road,.
My father and I learned to drive with them and we used the garage for all our petrol and repairs.
I remember Ally as a happy go lucky, fun loving person.
