ROSS (Stump) Melville Rainey Ross, aged 93 years (formerly of M R Ross Timber Contractors), passed away suddenly but peacefully, at home in Forgandenny, on January 28, 2024, devoted and loving husband of the late Catherine (Katie) Ross, dearly loved father of Heather, father-in-law of Ian, grandad of Ross, Greig, Freya and Victoria and great-grandad of Sophia, Isla, Brodie and Jack, uncle and a good friend to many who will be sorely missed by all. Funeral on Friday, February 23, service in Forgandenny Parish Church, at 1 p.m., committal thereafter in Forgandenny Churchyard, to which all are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. If desired, there will be a collection in memory of Melville taken at the church for Guide Dogs for the Blind and Dementia Scotland, should you wish to contribute.
