DOBBIE Peacefully, at home, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Shirley, beloved wife of the late John, much loved mum of Malcolm and Kathy, mother-in-law of Sylvia and Jim, dearly loved granny of Bethan and William. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium, on Friday, March 15, at 10.30 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please.

Shirley went out of her way to make us feel welcome when we moved to her street. She was such a warm, friendly and genuine person. A good listener and always happy to give her advice if asked. She seemed to remember all the kids' names (somehow!) and would ask after them as they crossed the road. She'll be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. My condolences to her family at this very difficult time x

A really wonderful woman, that started off as a lady who would cross me across the road to someone I was lucky enough to call a friend, I will forever miss meeting you, John and Flossy on my way home from work. I’m so grateful that I got to know such a kind thoughtful woman. I will always keep the little Easter duck that you made for me and treasure it forever. Thinking of you always.
