FERGUSON Peacefully, at Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Clydebank, on Friday, May 10, 2024, after a courageous battle, esteemed D.C. Thomson journalist, Chris, aged 60, beloved husband of Carolyn, much loved dad of Caitlin and Calum, doting grandad to Isaac, and dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Chris' life will take place on Friday, May 31, at 11 a.m., George Stewart Funeral Directors, Millgate Loan, Arbroath. Thereafter to St Vigeans Churchyard Extension, at 12.30 p.m., for a short interment service to which family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. If desired, donations can be made in lieu for Havilah, St Andrew's Church, Arbroath and ICU2 at Golden Jubilee National Hospital, who took wonderful care of Chris. There is no requirement for black attire when attending the celebration of Chris' life.
