HORROCKS Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Balcarres Care Home, Broughty Ferry, Barbara Madeline (nee Doughty), aged 92 years, beloved wife of the late Roland Chadwick Horrocks OBE, much loved sister of the late Terence and Basil Doughty, loving aunt and great-aunt. Born in Sheffield and lived in Newport-on-Tay attending Bell Baxter High School, before joining the Diplomatic Service to work in Moscow, Washington and Ecuador. Funeral to be held at Brewsterwells Crematorium, St Andrews, at 11.30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, to which all friends and family are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please.
