CHALMERS It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of James (Jim) Brown Chalmers, who died in his home, with family by his side, on September 19, 2024, at aged 84, beloved husband of the late Robina Dyce Chalmers (Nicoll), much loved father to Bruce, Duncan and grandfather to Connor, Halle, Ben and Kyle, cherished friend to Margaret Sim and much loved by all. We would like to invite all to join us in celebrating his life with a service, on Thursday, October 3, at 11.30 a.m., at Arbroath West Kirk. Family flowers only, please. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Community Alarm nurses/team, renal and district nurses, who visited and assisted both day and night, providing exceptional care to Jim, during his brief illness.
