ROSS Captain Donald "Lamont" Ross (master mariner), 'crossed the bar,' peacefully, in Crieff, on Saturday, October 18, 2024, (born in Glasgow on March 17, 1938, he was brought up in Rannoch, Grantown-on-Spey and Edinburgh as a son of the Manse and served in the R.A.F. and the Merchant Navy), he is survived by his wife Ann, children John, Joanna and Donald and grandchildren Ellie, Nicole, Molly, Alexa and Bertie. Ann and the family would like to thank the staff of the Blue Practice, Richmond House and Kate, Suzanne, Wendy and Andrea for their care. The funeral will be held on November 8, 2024, at Perth Crematorium, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the R.N.L.I., or Richmond House.
