PAT & JACK REID Celebrating their amazing Platinum, 70th Wedding Anniversary, are Pat and Jack Reid of Cortachy Crescent, Kirriemuir. They were married in the High Kirk Dundee by the Rev Roy Hogg on April 9,1955, and have a daughter and a son, Val Blewitt at Stracathro and Ian Reid in Broughty Ferry. They have four grandchildren, Kenneth, Linda, Sam and Katie and a great grandson Harris, who all live in Angus. Pat and Jack's great grandson, Harris, is now two and is a real delight to his Great Granny and Grandad and has introduced them to his favourite TV characters, Miss Rachel and Co! Pat and Jack were born in 1930 so they are both 94 years young and have their birthdays in June and August. The family had a lovely celebration lunch at Armstrongs Restaurant, Roundyhill, Glamis and the couple were delighted to receive an anniversary celebration card from Buckingham Palace and a card from the Lord - Lieutenant of Angus to mark their wonderful Platinum Anniversary.
