GOWANS Victoria, Claudia and Robin would like to sincerely thank all family, friends, colleagues and neighbours who paid their last respects at Mum's funeral; we also extend thanks to all, for their kind messages of love and support, Mass cards, flowers and visits at this sad time; we thank with all our hearts the angels who cared for Mum throughout her illness, allowing her to stay at home by providing her with 24 hour care - Helen, Wilma, Isabel, Stella, Mary and Danka, to the special ladies who came in daily and gave Mum the best care we could have wished for - Cheryl, Sharon, Michelle, Natalie, Kerry, Paula and Claire, for the support given to us from the Marie Curie nurses - Rita, Margaret & Hazel; thanks to Dr Meikle, district nurses and staff at Downfield Surgery; we thank Evelyn Milne (MND nurse) for continuous care, help & support; great thanks to Nicky Marra for his wonderful eulogy to Mum at Mass, Paul Fitzpatrick for the lovely music and Lisa Murray for her beautiful song; special thanks to Father Gregory, Monsignor McCaffrey, Canon Aldo and Canon McInally for the comforting Mass they concelebrated for Mum, we were overwhelmed to have raised over £1000 for MND Scotland from donations made at Mums funeral; thank you for your love and generosity.

So saddened to read of your dear mum's passing. I worked with Kathleen in St Mary's nursery class for the last few years before we both retired and she was always cheerful, positive and loved the children dearly. I am so sorry I missed the opportunity to pay my last respects to a lovely lady who sadly had her life shortened by a dreadful disease. My thoughts are with you all.
