On November 8, 2013, peacefully, in York Hospital, after an illness bravely fought, aged 31 years, loving wife to Michael, very dear daughter to Alan and Bea, extra special sister to Alistair and Graeme, and caring granddaughter to Helen Reid. Service to be held at York Crematorium, on November 22, at 3 p.m. Given Rachel's personality and general outlook on life, the family have decided that the wearing of sombre, black clothing is prohibited. Colourful only, please. The family are asking people not to send flowers, but instead to make a donation to the York Against Cancer charity.
