CRAWFORD Pete would like to thank our many friends for their support, kindness, letters and cards, also their attendance at the Crematorium at the celebration of Sandra's life; sincere thanks to the Rev. Joe Morrow for his compassionate and very personal, comforting service, which truly reflected on Sandra's life, the retiring donations at the Crematorium amounted to £700 and this has been forwarded to Roxburghe House, who wish to thank everyone for their support of the comfort fund, Sandra was nursed with great care and professionalism by all the wonder-ful staff at Roxburghe House, led by Doctors Brabin and Sinclair and felt very secure and happy during her stay there; Pete would also like to express his gratitude to Dr Emma Brown and her colleagues, esp- ecially Mel and Irene in the Oncology Depart- ment, at Ninewells Hospital, along with the dedicated staff of Ward 32, for their wonderful care given to Sandra, the reception staff at Radiotherapy, Sara, Jackie and Karen, along with the radiographers, were kindness itself in their dealings with Sandra, as were the Macmillan Nurse Support Team at Ninewells, Nancy, Nicola, Nicci, Lesley, Lorna and Cara; Pete would also like to remember with gratitude Sandra's three closest friends, Elspeth, Margaret and Valerie, those ladies looked after Sandra, visited her at home, accompanied her in her walking, her best pal Lena entertained her and generally gave her massive support from the inception of her illness to her passing in Roxburghe House, Dr Andrew Taylor and the Community nurses at Coldside Medical Practice were also involved in Sandra's care and their help and expertise were much appreciated, John Glennie and the staff, of Sturrock Comb & Davidson, who made all the necessary arrangements for the funeral and for arranging the excellent reception at the Hotel Broughty Ferry and their attention to detail and kindness were very much appreciated; Sandra was a good friend to a lot of people and had a dignified and positive attitude to her illness, which continued right to the end, she will be sorely missed by Pete and all those who knew her.
