SMITH Passed away, at home with her family and nurses around her, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, Kathleen (nee Shand), aged 65 years young, beloved wife of Richard, much loved mother of Lorna, Sara and Amy, loving granny to Niamh, Emily and Alfie, dearly beloved daughter of John and the late Margaret Shand, and much loved sister of Jane and Graham. Wonderfully cared for by the district nurses, Macmillan Cornhill Nurses and Ninewells nursing staff and local doctors. Kate's funeral service and celebration of her life, to which all friends are respectfully invited, shall take place at Bankfoot Church Centre, Tulliebelton Road, Bankfoot, on Wednesday, April 6, at 1 p.m., private committal thereafter at Kate's request. Please feel free to wear a splash of colour. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, may be given at the church door, if so desired, in aid of Cornhill Macmillan Support Group.
