BROWN After a short illness and a brave fight, George Brown, The Dookit, Markinch, peacefully and with dignity, lost his battle on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, bel- oved husband of Kimmie, cherished father and doting grandfather and loved by all his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all for his vibrant and charismatic character, he was a true gentleman to the end. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the Crematorium, Kirkcaldy, on Thursday, May 4, at 3 p.m., to which all family, friends and neighbours are warmly invited. Dress, kilt and colours. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, will be collec- ted for the Oncology Unit, Western General Hospital and the Murray Foundation.
