ROSS Lorna and family of the late Ian (Jock) Ross would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many cards, letters, phone calls, flowers and visits received during this sad time; many thanks to all staff at George Stewart Funeral Directors, especially to Kevin, for his caring and sympathetic professionalism; we would also like to thank Abbey, the Friockheim Pharmacist, Bill and Sylvia and the team of paramedics, who tried to help Ian; a very special thank you to serenity celebrant, Barbara Mc Gillvery, for her kind and comforting service, which was a true and fitting reflection of Ian; also, our gratitude to Sgt. Linsey Burnett for her warm and personal tribute to Ian, with some laughter throughout; thanks also to Jimmy Johnston, the piper, for his wonderful music; many thanks to Cara and her team, at Colliston Inn, for their hospitality and to Grace Patterson's for the beautiful flowers; a very special thank you to Police Scotland for their excellent and very special send off, Ian would have loved that respectful touch, the whole family were overwhelmed and very proud; finally, thanks to all who paid their last respects to Ian and who gave so generously the sum of £553.05 in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
