SHAW At home, peacefully, after a long illness, in Abernethy, on May 20, 2020. Margaret, aged 68, wife of Mitchell and the beloved wife of the late Derek Joss. Loving mum to Kevin Joss and loving step mum to Susan Brown. Loving mother-in-law of Susan and James, devoted granny and a loyal friend to many. Her friends and family will miss her dearly. Her strength of character, positivity and sharp wit were inspirational. Due to the current situation a private family burial will take place at Abernethy New Cemetery on Friday, May 29, at 11.00 a.m. Margaret's family would ask that the local villagers of Abernethy would turn out to pay your respects to her on her final journey whilst maintaining a safe and social distance when the funeral cortege will be leaving from Station Road at 10.45 a.m., then going through the village (Main Street). A memorial celebration of Margaret's life will be held at a later date.
