KOLLER Following the death of Vina Koller, in February this year, the family have been very moved by the numerous cards, flowers and messages of condolence which have been received, it was regretful that only a limited number were permitted to attend her funeral, a lost opportunity for reminiscing and sharing memories, however, over the past few weeks, many people have expressed their surprise at Vina's passing, from relatives, friends, neighbours, shopkeepers, hairdressers and bingo staff, to those she said 'Hello' to on her regular walks, your thoughtfulness at taking the time to speak with us has been much appreciated. We were amazed at the number of people who knew Vina, but, having been a very social person for all of her 90 glamourous years, perhaps we shouldn't have been so surprised. The warmth with which you spoke of her has been a source of great comfort and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you all; special thanks also to Rev. Fay, for her support and moving tribute to Vina and to Harry and the team at Sturrock's, for the sensitive way they cared for both mum and ourselves during what has been a very emotional time.
