DOWNIE Suddenly, in the arms of his loving wife Joan and surrounded by the devoted staff at Lochleven Care Home, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, on Friday, June 17, 2022, John, aged 82 years, dearest father of Douglas and Laura, loving step-dad of Michael and Steven, dear father-in-law of Lisa and the late Kerry, proud grandad of Sean and devoted grandad of Stewart and Nicola, and extra proud great-grandad of Ellie, also a loved brother of Brian and the late Tom, brother-in-law of Maureen and good friend to many. Funeral service at Dundee Crematorium, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 11.30 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please, donations, if desired, may be given at the Crematorium in aid of Lochleven Care Home comfort fund.
